YOGA in the Brickbottom Gallery Dates: Wednesdays starting January 13 until February 3, 2010 Pauline Lim is a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga for 19 years. This traditional hatha yoga class is appropriate for all levels. Wear loose, comfortable clothing in layers, and bring a sticky mat and belt if you have one.
Past classes: The Business of Being an Artist - Marketing Workshop In tight economic times artists need to be more business savvy than ever. In this BAA workshop, business consultant Alden Zecha will work with you to improve your marketing strategies and tactics. BAA membership is not required to attend. This workshop will be an active, facilitated, roundtable discussion. We will discuss each other’s marketing experiences and your specific marketing approaches and actions. Come with your specific questions and marketing ideas that you would like to explore and be prepared to share your stories and learn from others successes. Enrollment extended, but space is limited, so you must pre-reserve your seat. Participation fee is $40 or for a current BAA member $30. Instructor Alden Zecha has more than 25 years of business experience including founding and running five businesses. He has also worked as a consultant to such firms as Goldman Sachs, FedEx, Cummins and numerous early stage ventures, family businesses, and non-profits and has been a featured guest on the Somerville Art Matters television show.
